Oh, I love this! Your dear Marys are omnipresent at every event in our every day lives. And 63 years of marriage? Congratulations. What a role model you have had for marriage.
63 years! Now, that is quite an accomplishment. And I love how you incorporated their anniversary with Mary! Congratulations to your parents. Do they have any advice for the rest of us as to what works? My mother says to never go to bed angry at each other.
PS I was going to ask the other day about whether or not you sell your paintings. I have rerally enjoyed this series of A Virgin a Day. Then I saw your ETSY shop. Will any of the Virgin portraits go into ETSY? Let me know. I love them all.
dear cro... this is breath taking. my love to your parents who chose the most perfect day of the year to marry. i hope you will put all your paintings together in a book when you are finished. on second thought...i hope you never finish...but paint a loving mary painting every day ...forever!
it is a kind of prayer, the way you manage to lift my heart completely with each painting.
Thank YOU all for your encouragement and compliments! I would like to make prints of these Marys but haven't decided or not whether to sell the originals!

A wonderful portrait of love in the painting and the words. I'm not even 63 years old! Just wonderful.
Peace.
