~~*FLOWERS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND, NOT DIAMONDS*~~

AT LEAST THEY ARE FOR THIS GAL! tee hee How about YOU?! Would YOU like a diamond or a beauty full flower? I know diamonds last longer, I know, but flowers have my heart.
A lot has happened since I last posted! The next day, my Aunt Flora died. She was an aunt by marriage, an aunt who I didn't know that well but I should have! No-one visits like they used to or even have as many picnics and get togethers! She was sweet though. Everytime I saw her, her husband was by her side. That's like my husband Jerry and me. That's how we roll as they say! tee hee
We had 3 birthdays, May 3, my sweet hubby, May 4, my daughter Gina and May 10, my mom's birthday fell on Mother's Day this year.
We went out to eat and of course I forgot my camera! UG! On this same day, Mother's Day, my friend's brother's house burned down.
Sadness and Happiness, that's how it goes........
As YOU can see one of my gifts from one of my sons was white roses!!! I LOVE them! I LOVE my 3 cards too! I LOVE my 3 sweet children too and my angel up in heaven! Children are the greatest GIFTS!
HOW ARE YOU???!!! I haven't been online sooOOOOOoo I will soon visit YOU! I just don't seem to have time in the Spring and Summer for the computer! I haven't gotten out Spring clothes yet! I'm very slow anymore! *phew*

This is such a lovely post. I love diamonds, I always have. Their sparkle, sjhining like glitter has always captivated me. But then again i love flowers too. My favorite are yellow roses. I wore them to my hubbies senior prom and carried them on our wedding day. So sorry for the sadness you've had to deal with. And grateful that God has thrown in some happ[iness in your mix. Life comes full circle and we can never stop it. But the roses, the scent of the roses. They do make lifes circle easier to handle don't you think!

Cinda! What a rollercoaster of joy and sadness. Welcome back. As usual, you have arrived in a flurry of happy dust.

Just wait til you visit me. I've been seriously low for over a week ever since the death of my friend, Bob. Posted yesterday because I just can't resist participating in Sepia Scenes. Thank God. Now I'm starting to crawl out of this low ebb.

Your happy dust is totally infectious.

Love
Annie

Wow! You've had a week of it all. I had a funeral for one of my children's in-laws. He died unexpectedly and his wife found him slumped over the computer key board several hours later. So hard before Mother's Day.

I had a wonderful mom's day even if some of it happened a bit later.

What a week ~~ girlfriend!!
I'm with you I would rather have flowers any day of the week than a diamond!!
In fact, I have a motto...
" I buy flowers, and if there is any momey left, I pay the rent and bills..." I've had that motto for years, and I've never been late on my rent, and my bills always got paid, and a bouquet was always on my table!!

Love you sweet Cro, you white roses are as lovely as you.

Sorry to hear of your losses...
Life goes round and round, and round, doesn't it.

Love and Hugs
