@--->ROSES ARE RED MY LOVE, VIOLETS ARE BLUE<-----@

IT all began when I picked violets like every year, just before hubby cuts the grass for the first time! I thought, wouldn't it be nice to send some violets to my blogging sisters? and brothers if YOU would want some! YOU still can have some but they didn't stay as purple or blue as the song says! I do have a few rose petals too if YOU would still like some, just email me!!! Maybe YOU can use them in your art like I did and then post it for a day!
I was going to post my collage EARTH DAY + a self portrait for Misty but my camera had other ideas! Ka-put! Nothing! I needed batteries once again soOOOOOOo this post would have to wait!
I was sitting on the porch and as usual, the big black bees were flying around soOOOOooo I had the bright idea to style my hair into a beehive for the SP! LOL( Notice my collage gal's hair!!! tee hee)
Earth Day which was Wednesday, I made a collage and added SPRING thingies like crocus's, tulips and my picked violets! I threw out bread, nuts and cherry tomatoes and watched many animals that day as usual out my big picture kitchen window! Click onto the lil cardinal pic to seeeeeeee him and seeeeeeee if YOU can seeeeee the lil red cherry tomatoes! Here is the poem I wrote on that day too!
"EARTH DAY"
is every day
here
I watched crows
tap, tap, tapping
their bills into the bread pieces
against the Earth
one, two, hopefully maybe 3!!!
fly away
junior groundhog walks right by
the cherry tomatoes, sniffing
overlooking the tasty morsels
I tossed into the air
a red, red bright cardinal
lands and looks around
while the Mrs. waits in the tree top
well, if no-one wants this
nice red, red tomato
my favorite color as YOU might guess
mmmMMM! tasty as he flys away
with his Earth Day prize!

I am not posting as much because Spring is a busy time! I did get my livingroom painted "Polished Turquoise" in time for Easter! I LOVE it! It is soOOOOOo bright and cheerful, I call it my Easter room! Days later, my back went out and that was scary! I used to be down with my back at least once a year, but I have gone some years without that happening! I guess all that painting did a # on me! UG!
I'm not a Spring chicken YOU know! LOL
HOW ARE YOU???!!!! I've missed YOU!!!
Just email me if YOU would like an old fahioned snail mail letter! I'll include some dryed flower parts and hope they arrive in one piece!
Here's a song to go along with my pretty violets!
go here if YOU want to join in the Wednesday SP with Misty although I think she might be going on another art trip!

Hi TC,
I've been neglecting my friends on line again in bloglandia. It's those jigsaw puzzles! Darn things!
