Since I don't have my new camera set-up online yet, these will do!!! LOL These are Somerset Studio Rejects! Shame on those gals! I thought for sure these would make it! Instead of a list of things I have gotten published in, I could have a list of things on my sidebar that didn't make it!!! LOL

O well, we have more important things to worry about now if YOU ask me although I'll probably try again to get published some day but not soon! It is a thrill! I think I've been in there 2 times.

I've been busy looking at a place mom was considering moving to in the spring called "Harmony Valley" but it would be a very BIG step for them! YOU would have to downsize very, very much! The thing that turned mom off was the little refrigerator! LOL She said it didn't make ice cubes like hers instantly! She said she was spoiled! Dad doesn't walk very good now and where they live now, it is a 32 acre deal, too, too much for 80 year olds!!!(Mom is 78, Dad is 83) I've told her we should both sale our places and move into a house together.

Murders, sickness, deaths, flooding, hunger, war, Health Care reform,wild fires, EarthQuakes, Tsunamis, it becomes too much sometimes!

I've also been busy getting those dreaded winter clothes ready!!! It's turned cold here already!!! Where's Indian Summer???!!! I hope we have some more beautiful sunny days to go up in the mountains to see the trees changing colors!!! Hopefully, I'll get my camera ready in time! Mom and dad want to go up to "Cool Springs" to get some buckwheat pancakes!!! mmmmMMMMM!

~~WHITE TAILS ON A SUNNY DAY IN SEPTEMBER~~

these pics were taken a day or two before Labor Day.......I LOVE to see the deer's white tails! This was taken through my sheer kitchen curtains........ I was going to show my new curtains I made last year but my camera is a goner! Now, I have to figure out my new camera my daughter, Gina got me 3 years or more ago!!! Phew

I stepped outside and they didn't seem to mind.........

I kept seeing these 2 gents every 2 weeks for a while and now I haven't seen them, maybe they are getting ready to hide from all the hunters who will be hunting them soon. They have almost lost all their orange color and are turning brown soOOOOOooO GOOD LUCK Bucky and Rudy! Wish me luck on figuring out my camera and getting pics back on my pc! JOE PISCOPO PUT ON A GREAT SHOW SATURDAY NIGHT + THE DAVISSON BROS PLAYED FRIDAY NIGHT BUT I MISSED THEM WAITING FOR GINA TO GET IN SAFE AND SOUND!

I WOULD HAVE LOVED MORE PICS, ESPECIALLY THE DANCING IN THE STREETS TO "AMICI" A CROWD FAV BAND THAT HAS PLAYED EVERY YEAR BUT I NEVER BROUGHT MY CAMERA WITH ME TIL' THE LAST DAY, SUNDAY!

MY oldest son, Damon and his wife, Natalie are GREAT GREETERS!! Don't they LOOK excitied to see Jerry(my DH) and me?!! SWEET kids!!

Natalie won 2 prizes!! Here is one of them! This was the 21st Annual PASTA COOK-OFF the last Saturday in August, last week-end! YOU buy a ticket for only $5.00 and YOU get to sample everyone's pasta who has entered! YUMMY!!!

Natalie says Damon is getting BABY FEVER! LOL Every time YOU'd look, there would be Cousin Damon holding Laila! Isn't she a dollbaby???!!!

This man is the WINNER of the HOT PEPPER eating contest!!! At first they only had 1 to enter but finally, I think they at least had 10!!! It was FUN to watch! I could NEVER enter!!

I think this gal came in 2nd or 3rd!!! hehe

Natalie's cousin, Robert entered the pasta cook-off and he WON!!! He made 2 sauces which I LOVED! He won JUDGE'S CHOICE First Place for his red sauce! mmmmMMMMMMM! There's his Aunt and his dad, Bobby T!

It was at the end of the day and here are my 2 good-looking men shooting the breeze! We will be spending another Saturday(all week-end) downtown Clarksburg again! It's the 31st Annual WEST VIRGINIA ITALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL!!! WOOT! YOU should smell the aromas!!! mmmmMMMMMMMM! and the BEST NEWS is Gina's coming home once again!! Please say some prayers for her safe trip to mama!!! HAPPY WEEK_END!!!!
