JUNE!!! WHAT A MONTH! just recovering from the wedding from May 24, seeing some of the wonderful wedding pics in the first week of June, my daughter-in-laws daddy getting very sick and being in ICU while he is on vacation and being life flighted to the same town we are going on our vacation the next week!, my son and new daughter-in-law being hit by a deer and having to start their trip again the next day in a RENT-A-CAR! to the same place where we are going on vacation! Coming home to a 99th Birthday Party, a funeral,hurrying and sewing an apron for Pino Pie Day! getting my Helene ANGEL book in the mail, a CROWN(dentist!)my brother turning 60! buying an antique Rose gathering Basket(found it with a friend at the Humane Society Thrift Shop! I'll be trying to get a good pic of it later for YOU! ) Vanessa's Blog Tea Party! and I thought when I took that last pic, the sepia one of me in the hat with the simple grin I was going to title my post something to do with Contentment, but contentment doesn't last too long, does it?!! I emailed senators part of my last day of JUNE, today, hoping to make a difference, praying for a change of HEART! This evening maybe they were thinking of transporting my son's father-in-law back to WV! Please say a prayer for Bill Tiano's safe journey back home! Thank YOU!That sums up my JUNE! How was your JUNE?! I forgot to mention the 3 rainbows I saw this month, one in SC after a storm that shut down the cinemas my daughter and I went to and 2 here in WV! Did I ever tell YOU how much I LOVE rainbows! I almost made my hubby wreck the car when I saw the rainbow 2 days ago while driving when I gasped! They always are a SURPRISE and each one is like I never saw one before! LOL Let's count July's rainbows!

PHEW! i just got my
Donkey Dreams

apron done in the nick of time! I took the material on vacation with me but seems like we were always on the BEACH!!! SooOOOoo I got busy Sunday night and the donkey and apron were on their way to Oregon Monday afternoon and safely arrived yesterday just in time for the BIG day, PINO PIE DAY!!!Saturday 28! If YOU are near Yamhill RD, stop in and say HI! Wish I lived near, I would be there!!! GOOD LUCK Katherine!!! and PINO!!! I thought I would make a donkey for the pocket!!! Isn't he cute? !!I even made my own label! Now, I just HOPE someone buys my hand made apron to help sweet Katherine and all her sweeties!!!

we left on a Thursday and came back last Thursday and have been busy ever since!
Clothes(laundry) and cleaning, to the store on Friday, to a 99TH BIRTHDAY PARTY on Saturday, Happy Birthday Aunt Katie!!! + church and today, Sunday to the Funeral Home. A sweet woman from where I used to live on Gregory's Run Road died. Zelma Mae Hammond was 95!
We need a vacation just to rest from the vacation + my daughter-in-law's daddy is in ICU where we vacationed! Charleston, SC! It will cost $5,000, just to transfer him here to WV! Hospital costs are ridiculous! Please keep Bill Tiano in your prayers. Thank YOU! It is good to get back though but I can't wait to go back!! Maybe, HOPEFULLY, in August!

mmmMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmMMMM

It was the 3rd of June and instead of biscuits and all that,(hear the 3rd of JUNE on my previous post!) I made Italian Teala!!!

Here's how I made mine!

Meatless

Teala

5-6 potatoes cut up into big cubes

1 zucchini

1 squash

1 big onion

1 clove garlic

2 cans of tomatoe sauce

pinch of pepper

pinch of salt

lil' Oregano

lil' Italian seasoning

I put my potatoes in some water to boil and soften, then added the zucchini, the onion, the garlic, the squash, poured out some of the water, not all of it because it has yumminess in it! After everything was getting softer, I added the 2 cans tomatoe sauce and cooked this for at least 45 minutes, turned my fire off, and then I added a whole package of mozzerella cheese on top and covered. dish out in bowls and sprinkle Parmesan cheese! YUMMY for the tummy! xo, Cinda ps,you could add peppers too! I forgot!

jUNE 1, 1973, O! what a GLORIOUS day!!! That's when I met my old man! It was a dance club bar, "Top of the Tree" on a hot Friday night, a night I'll never forget! I've told it before, how I had on a scarf and Jerry told me why don't YOU take that off, so the next song I went into the bathroom and took off my scarf and the electricity went off!!! WOOT! I should have known he was the one right then! I did know I loved the looks of him! He looked like Mark Spitz! tee hee but better looking!!! Yeah baby, BEHAVE!!! 6 months later, December, 1973 was our wedding day! See how we are starting to look like each other as they say old couples do!!! LOL

today, LOOK!!! as we drove to the old graveyard where we walk just about every day now, there it was! A fluffy white cloud that looks like a heart!!! That could be for all of us, especially for my honeymooners, Damon, my son and his new wife, Natalie on the plane today coming back home from the Dominion Republic! and for my old man! tee hee and me!

seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee all the pretty buttercups in the graveyard!!! There were thousands more but these did come back after a cutting!!!

and to cap off a beautiful JUNE 1st DAY, what else, an ice cream cone!!! Hope YOU had a fluffy peaceful Sunday!xoxoxoxoxoxo, Cinda
